The current study focused on the participation of women in microenterprises in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Microenterprises are small-scale businesses such as tailoring units, petty shops, food processing, handicrafts, and service-based activities that require less capital but provide steady income. For many women in this district, these businesses are not only a means of earning money but also a path to greater confidence, independence, and decision- making power within their families. The research highlights that women-led enterprises make valuable contributions to household income, employment generation, and local economic growth. The aim of the study is to examine the socio- economic profile of women entrepreneurs. To identify the challenges faced by women in sustaining microenterprises and to assess the role of government policies, NGOs, and self-help groups (SHGs) in promoting women entrepreneurs. In this study, 90 respondents were selected using the convenient sampling method. Primary data and secondary data were collected for this study, and SPSS software was used to analyze the data. The research found that there are women entrepreneurs who possess the talent, ambition, and capability to contribute significantly to socio-economic development. With strengthened institutional support, increased awareness of policies, and removal of key financial and infrastructural barriers, women-led enterprises can evolve from small-scale operations into dynamic growth-oriented ventures. Ensuring a more inclusive, supportive and resource-rich entrepreneurial ecosystem will not only uplift women but also create broader economic prosperity and social empowerment across the region.
Banking plays a critical part in the economic growth of all nations in the world. Cash, credit, and other financial transactions are handled by the banking sector. A bank employee's primary responsibility is to monitor the amount of money entering and leaving the bank in a day. In addition to these duties, banking employees also provide their clients with financial support. With the lot of responsibility, the bank employees are unable to manage their personal and work lives. The objectives of the current investigation is i) to find out the factors influencing the work-life balance of bank employees and ii) to find out the satisfaction level of bank employees. For this study a sample size of 120 persons were selected, and the process resulted in the collection of 90 responses completed on all parameters for data analysis and interpretation using the convenience sampling method. Only Indian Bank employees in three taluks are covered in this study. The result of the Mann-Whitney U test indicates that the P value is higher than the significant value; hence, the null hypothesis is accepted at a 5 percent significance level. It is concluded that there is no significant difference between age groups and the factors influencing work-life balance. Overload of work has been influencing the employees' work- life balance; the organization must improve technologies and minimize the work with AI tools and implement the technology for their employees.

This study examines the impact of digitalization on customer experience in postal services, with a focus on how technological advancements, such as online booking, tracking systems, digital payments, and mobile applications, have reshaped service delivery and customer satisfaction. Using both primary data, collected from 120 respondents in the Kanyakumari district through convenience sampling, and secondary data from journals and reports, the research employs percentage analysis and Garrett ranking techniques to interpret findings. The results reveal that transparency, reliability, accessibility, cost-effectiveness, and digital customer support are the most positively valued aspects of digitalized postal services, with transparency ranked highest. However, factors such as ease of use, convenience, transaction speed, and security received lower scores, reflecting continued challenges in user-friendliness and trust. The study highlights that while digitalization has significantly improved efficiency, transparency, and service quality, overall satisfaction remains moderate. This indicates the need for postal authorities to simplify digital platforms, enhance usability, and strengthen data security. This study focuses on the work-life balance (WLB) of women teachers in professional colleges of Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. Using survey data and analysis of key motivational and institutional factors, the research identifies the determinants that enhance WLB and the challenges that hinder effective work-life balance. The findings reveal that recognition, timely salary, participation in decision-making, and supportive work environments are the most significant contributors to work-life balance. Conversely, excessive workload, time pressure, role conflict, lack of childcare facilities, and limited institutional support were identified as major obstacles to achieving a healthy work-life balance. Despite these difficulties, most women teachers reported satisfaction with their profession, demonstrating the intrinsic rewards and social respect associated with teaching. The study highlights that improving work–life balance requires a comprehensive threefold approach involving institutional initiatives such as recognition systems, salary revisions, family- friendly policies, and wellness programs; government interventions including salary standardization and workload regulation; and personal strategies encompassing effective time management, continuous professional development, and self-care. By bringing attention to both the motivating and challenging aspects of women teachers' professional lives, this study contributes to the discourse on gender, education, and workplace equity. It underscores the need for supportive institutional frameworks and policy reforms that will empower women educators to achieve both professional fulfillment and personal well-being.
