Abstract

This paper presents the Growth of Information Technology (IT) Industry in India. The last decade of 20th century has witnessed IT to have revolutionary effect on the lives of people. During this period, Indian engineers and scientists have earned high degree of esteem around the world for their highly professional and innovative contributions. In general, IT covers all aspects of managing and processing information. IT industry has emerged as one of the fastest growing industries in India. As a proportion of Gross Domestic Product, the IT industry revenue has grown from 1.2 % in 1998 to an estimated 8.2 % in 2014. The software products market in India, which includes accounting software and cloud computing-based telephony services. Apart from wealth creation and large export earnings, Indian IT industry has also provided large scale employment to educated and skilled work-force.

Abstract

The extracting of personal sprite from the whole image faced many problems in separating the sprite edge from the unneeded parts, some image software try to automate this process, but usually they couldn’t find the edge or have false result. In this paper, we have made an enhancement on the use of Canny edge detection to locate the sprite from the whole image by adding some enhancement steps by using MATLAB. Moreover, remove all the non-relevant information from the image by selecting only the sprite and place it in a transparent background. The results of comparing the Canny edge detection with the proposed method shows improvement in the edge detection.

Abstract

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system allows callers to interact with the communications system over the telephone. IVRS is used to enable the caller to retrieve information from a database, enter information into a database, or both. IVR systems allow the user to efficiently exchange information, reducing clerical processing and travelling. In telecommunication IVRS allows customers to interact with a company host system via telephone keypad or by speech recognition, after which they can service their own inquiries by following IVR dialogue. IVR systems can respond with prerecorded or dynamically generated audio to further direct users on how to proceed.Using Inter voice hardware and software, we have developed voice automation applications, which can perform automated transaction processing without human intervention. IVR applications can be used to control almost any function where the interface can be broken down into a series of interactions. IVR systems deployed in the network are signed to handle large call volumes. In our paper, we propose our own model to modify the existing application of gas booking system with library-member Interactive system. In this proposed model, a library user can know the availability of a book, antique article or a magazine in a library staying at their home itself. The model that we propose in this paper is a product of the case study that we conducted, over a period of time.

Abstract

In the coming years holds an extraordinary promise for refining our education on cancer. At recent acts cancer is combined with knowledge management to prevent, trying to know it early like when does it occur and treat all forms of the disease effectively without significant side effects. Yet without a talented, innovative, and diverse workforce of researchers and clinicians, these much-needed advances cannot become a reality. Hence a Knowledge management system is required to monitor and control the activities of the Brain to identify the occurrence of cancer in our body so that the cancer identified in early stage will enable us to cure it to the maximum level. This research paper focuses on the various levels in which brain can be simulated through knowledge management to enhance an alert system for identifying Breast cancer at an early stage.

Abstract

The initiation of resource provisioning in cloud computing for workflow scheduling. Most demanding issues in Clouds is Workflow Scheduling. However, Clouds are different from Grids in few ways: on-demand resource provisioning, homogeneous networks and the pay-as-you-go pricing model. We are proposing resource provisioning and scheduling strategy for scientific workflows using meta-heuristic optimization algorithm known as Particle Swarm Optimization. It aims is to minimize the overall execution cost while meeting timeframe constraints in various scientific workflows of different sizes. The results have been evaluated using Cloudsim with different QoS parameters which are user defined. The approach performs better than the genetic and ant colony optimization algorithms.
