Abstract

The primary objective of this paper is to explore the diverse range of radiographic imaging techniques available for implant diagnosis and treatment planning. Pre-placement examination heavily relies on the utilization of these imaging modalities, as they play a critical role in ensuring the success of dental implant restorations by providing comprehensive diagnostic information about the patient's orofacial bony structures. Advancements in radiographic imaging have revolutionized the field of implant dentistry, offering dental professionals a wide array of imaging options to assess and plan implant procedures accurately. Having access to a variety of radiographic imaging techniques empowers dental practitioners to make well-informed decisions during implant treatment planning. It ensures that the implant procedure is tailored to the patient's unique anatomy and increases the chances of long-term success for dental implant restorations.
