A Study on Financial Performance of Air India

Abstract

This study focuses on the financial performance of Air India Limited and the objective of this study is to compare the current financial performance with the last five years and to study the existing financial position of the company. The data used in this study is secondary data from the annual report. The data used in this study, comparative balance sheet, common balance sheet and comparative balance sheet analysis, show that the current liabilities are higher than the current assets every year, and it is to be suggested that the company concentrates on increasing the level of the current assets to improve its financial position. The study of financial performance of the company has revealed a great deal about their various financial aspects over the past five years. The comparative analysis unlocks the overall financial performance of the company.
