Abstract

Although current treatment modalities, such as root canal therapy, save hundreds of teeth each day and offer high levels of clinical success, an ideal form of therapy would be a "Regenerative Approach." Among the various regenerative endodontic procedures, pulp revascularization is a promising and innovative treatment concept, especially in immature necrotic teeth. Hence, it is a highly valued potential approach in pediatric dentistry. This review provides an overview of pulp revascularization with possible future potential for regenerating pulp as a routine dental procedure in pediatric dentistry.
