Kerala being one of the outstanding states of India, 100 percent literacy and renowned as “God’s own country” it is lagging a lot in women empowerment. The highest literate ladies of India belong to Kerala, are still in a shell of inhibition to become free birds to boom in different environments. Even different types of movements are initiated but there is no powerful transformations seen in connection with making a lady a fully fledged entrepreneur. In this scenario this article tries to irradicate the factors contributing the inhibiting factors among the ladies to move into such a world of difference. The particular study is concentrated with respect to all the districts of the Kerala state. The article tries to identify the problems faced by a woman in reaching a home maker to an effective entrepreneur. Family bindings, Gender disparity, Effective family support, Risk taking ability, financial instability etc were the factors identified by the women entrepreneurs in the same scenario which are the binding factors for a lay to become an entrepreneur. Among these Family bindings is the highly rated factor since it may be a factor deducted from our cultural heritage.
