A Solar Powered Panic Alert Smart Bag

Abstract

The smart solar bag is a system of many intelligent features and will be made in such a way that it can be used by all members of society at any age, from a teenager to an adult. Smart means intelligent, fast, self-monitoring, and report analysis, which would be enough to perform various functions for everyday use. It will be powered by solar energy, which will also make it very environmentally friendly. The ATmega 16 microcontroller will be the brain of the system, which will manage all the functions. A solar panel will be placed on the front of the bag, which will provide power to the system to perform its functions. This system will have many functions, such as a panic button for any emergency, which means that if any situation occurs, the user will press the panic button and its location will be transmitted to the contacts registered in the system using Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) technology. Secondly, this smart solar bag will have the function of a schedule alert system for teens who forget to bring copies and books for the respective day. An Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) screen will be placed in the front, which will display the schedule for the respective days. Thirdly, it will turn on the electronic devices, the power of which drops after use.
