Abstract

This paper presents obstacle detection using image processing and ultrasonic sensor devices. This innovation allows visually handicapped people to navigate confidently and quickly using ultrasonic instrumentation and image processing using Raspberry Pi to detect nearby obstacles and guide them with real-time voice information. This solution makes use of Google Assistant and the Python programming language. The main goal of this project is to assist visually challenged people, and the device can be attached to a hat. This is a simple wearable gadget for the blind.
