An Instrument for Quality, Productivity & Safety Improvement in Indian Manufacturing Industries

Abstract

Every business has to face multi- challenges because of advanced operations, increase in product complexity, and high competition at national & international level. India is a fast developing country & hence the relevance of Quality, Productivity and Safety & measures to improve them is of prime significance .Hence there is prime need to develop an instrument to access critical success factors and performance measures to improve overall performance of manufacturing industries. Through extensive literature survey and personal interviews CSFs and PMs have been identified. With the help of judgemental selection of attributes an instrument is being developed for pilot study in the manufacturing industries to improve financial performance and operating performance.
