Abstract

In the ongoing revolution of Internet, IoT has vital application in the field of robotics for the security and comfort of mankind. In order to provide the safety and security, we came with the concept of remotely operated robotic vehicle using IoT. Here, we have introduced a new approach of monitoring and controlling the proposed robotic unit. Raspberry pi serves the purpose of medium to interface robotic unit with Internet. The robotic unit consist of arm which holds camera and can perform an omnidirectional revolution as per the commands received through Web page. The proposed system can be effectively used in fire prone areas to pick the object and place it in safer areas.
