Abstract

MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is an infrastructure-less mobile network where each node can act well as a router which forwards the packet that helps in the route discovery from source to destination. In this paper, The authors will discuss about DSR and AODV, both of which are the reactive routing protocols used in MANET. Also, we will see the simulation based comparison between these two protocols using two parameters, that are Throughput and End to- End Delay.

Keywords

MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network), DSR (Dynamic Source Routing), AODV (Adhoc On Demand Distance Vector), Throughput, End-to-End Delay.
