Abstract

This paper involves in the designing of Hexagonal microstrip antenna with H-tree fractal slots for biomedical applications. Skin cancer a deadly disease which identified early can be cured. The key application of this work is to detect cancerous tumors present in patients without skin contact. The design works with the help of electromagnetic waves directed towards human skin. The Hexagonal microstrip antenna with H-tree fractal slots is used which operates in multiband. The ground plane of the antenna is etched to increase bandwidth to enhance the performance of the antenna. The resonating frequency of the designed antenna is 2.71GHz and 4.21GHz.
