The control system of the induction motor is realized using direct vector control including field weakening region. Space vector modulation is the preferred PWM method for three phase current source inverters. A simplified SVM implementation that is based on calculation of duty ratio required to synthesize the reference current. The steady state and dynamic results of the proposed strategy are presented.
