jce.7.2.13419 Flexural Behavior of Quaternary Blended Fiber Reinforced Self Compacting Concrete Beams Using Mineral Admixtures G. Sree Lakshmi Devi P. Srinivasa Rao Journal on Civil Engineering 2249-0779 7 2 1 6 Blended Self Compacting Concrete, Mineral Admixtures, Fiber Reinforced Concrete Beams, Steel Fibers In order to improve the environmental friendliness of concrete industry, an attempt has been made with supplementary cementitous material for partial replacement of cement. Partial replacement of cement with Fly ash, GGBS and Microsilica made in Self compacting concrete, i.e Quaternary Blended Self Compacting Concrete (QBSCC) was done to a maximum extent of cement replacement. In the part of study of QBSCC properties, steel fibers are incorporated in Reinforced QBSCC to improve the flexural behavior and compared with the control self compacting concrete for different water binder ratios. The result shows that the flexural strength was improved in Fiber Reinforced QBSCC with control self compacting concrete. March-May 2017 Copyright © 2017 i-manager publications.
