The key similarities and differences between Orem’s theory and Roy’s Model are identified. Nursing is an evolving and unique profession for which theory can be utilize as a guide for practice. This article demonstrates two of these nursing theories through the four concepts of the nursing meta-paradigms which consist of person, health, environment, and nursing.
