This paper deals with Modeling and Analysis of Supply Chain Networks. In recent past, more and more companies have been forming strategic alliances and joint ventures with other companies to leverage the benefits of globalized economy. These relationships extend to customers, suppliers and competitors too. Cross industry alliances are also observable among companies operating in diverse industries. One such an instance is that of the $86 billion merger between General Motors Inc. and Opel Motors, which has brought together two major automakers to create a highly networked organization with a different competitive focus and market niche. Companies are also extending beyond the traditional channels of marketing and reaching to the customer through newer channels.
