JME_V5_N2_RP4 Flowability of Developed Agglomerated Fluxes During Submerged Arc Welding Ajay Kumar Hari Singh Sachin Maheshwari Journal on Mechanical Engineering 2249 - 0744 5 2 29 32 Submerged arc Welding, Agglomerated Flux, Flowability, Weld Bead This paper shows an evaluation of a flowability of developed agglomerated fluxes and has been determined. The basic constituents of these fluxes are CaO, SiO and Al O Minor additions of MgO, MnO, CaF , NiO and Fe-Cr are mixed in the 2, 2 3. 2 basic constituents as to see the performance in terms of flowability of these developed fluxes on weld metal. The flowability of these fluxes was good and welding behavior in terms of Arc initiation, Arc stability and weld appearance was also good.
