JMAT_V1_N3_RP3 Amit Kumar Maheshwari Journal on Mathematics 2277-5137 1 3 18 22 Algebraic & Transcendental Equation, Taylor Expansion, Newton-Raphson Method, Iteration Process, Slope Bisector The present paper illustrates an innovative scheme to solve nonlinear and transcendental equations. Comparative analysis shows that the present method is faster than Newton — Raphson method, Hybrid iteration method and Numerical approach given by Maheshwari. In fact, this is a modification to Numerical approach given by Maheshwari. Iteration cost effective parameters - iteration steps & value of absolute error is also found to be minimum than these methods without going to the computation of second derivatives.
