Surveillance cameras are a great way to provide security for our homes or workplace. It provides us with video footage of any events that may happen. They also act as a visible deterrent to criminals. But this camera is fixed at one position to cover a required location as described in [1], and for different locations the user needs so many number of cameras for surveillance. This paper deals with the implementation of smart surveillance monitoring system using Arduino kit and some proximity sensors. The proposed security system will provide a new range of facility which is able to do more than two camera’s work at a time, and is also cost efficient.
