Chauhan Journal on Communication Engineering and Systems 2277-5242 6 2 5 10 Open Loop Triangular Ring Resonators, Close Loop Dual Band Filter, Cascaded Structure, Stubs, Selectivity A new compact and planar design for dual band Band Pass Filter (BPF) is proposed. The proposed BPF is a cascaded design of open loop triangular resonator such that it forms a closed loop. Stubs are added to the resonator to improve sparameter performance of the design. Coupled resonator theory is introduced for cascade open loop triangular ring resonator with coupled stub at its open loop area to improve the rejection performance of the filter.
